Gardening World - Purplish lady's finger

It had been hard for me to continue blogging these days, "some" thing could have changed. I know, I felt it.... am just waiting for the time for me to accept the change. Frankly, I have shifted myself else where within the cyberspace.

Anyway, I could have planned some of these blog topics earlier, especially when I need time to wait for "them" to grow up.

Presenting here, we have our "Purple" lady's finger. Anyone don't know what's this vegetable is, check it out at wiki, also known as Okra. Why's it in purple colour? Don't ask me why, as it was from the packed seed. Having this just for fun... not sure if it taste good, will check it out when they are fully mature for harvest.

Besides lady's finger, I do have other purple plants at home too! The purple chilli... it was all transplanted from these seed.

It's now flowering, hope to see its fruits very soon.

Restaurant Ong Fah Meru, Klang

This will be rather an ad-hoc post, with an aimless trip to Klang today. It was a blur morning, which I might not even wake myself up from the bed if the gardener had never rang my door bell. :-S Anyway, without any particular motive, we drove ourselves to Setia Alam for lunch (skipped breakfast as I had it during my sleep zzzz :P) cum a visit to a friend's new shop.

Lunch was simple. The mixed platter served just nice, with the choice of roasted duck, roasted chicken, char siew (BBQ pork) and chinese sausages. There is no superb taste of the food, but since hubby has been talking about shop for years, while he was working at that area, but I had never been to this place!

Back to that platter, RM9.50 seems to be rather reasonable. Among all, what did I like most? I would say their roasted duck (though I just had Paramount's roasted duck last night), the char siew and the sausage. Roasted chicken seems to be rather normal. Chilli served was not bad too.

I wouldn't say there is a super recommendation or finger licking taste of the dishes, but in any case if you happen to be around the place, without much idea of what to have for lunch. This may be a choice, we introduced this to the owner of a shop, whom will appear in the next up coming post.

Restaurant Ong Fah Meru (3rd branch, apparently they have several branches in Klang),
Along Jalan Cokmar 1, parallel with Jalan Meru, Klang.

Foods @ Kota Kemuning - Carson Bubble Tea Corner (卡申泡泡茶) [closed]

I missed Taiwan... they have great bubble tea almost every corner of a nite market or even day market place. Though, we could get many ranges of bubble tea in some shopping malls these days. Some time ago, it can be seen at most corner of our pasar malam (nite market) too. In fact, I missed pasar malam too, ever since I shifted away from PJ, this event has never appear in my weekly diary. So sad.

Last weekend, we (the adults) were introduced by the teenagers to this one of their favourite hang out place to have lunch after a badminton match.

This particular shop has been re-opened. Re-opened? Yes, it has been there for quite a number of years, lately there ran into a new ownership and had slight refurbishment. They serve Set Meal of RM5.00 nett lately.

Their set meal comprise of a plate of either fried rice (Thai curry or, Fu Yong egg or, Sambal) or fried noodles, plus a drink (coffee/tea/barley/cincau). One could also upgrade the drink to bubble tea with an addition of RM1.50. Their bubble tea ranges between RM3.80 to RM4.xx. Which I think it's worth for teenagers' hang out.
