Merry X'Mas 2011 & Happy New Year 2012
Recalled that I usually have a X'mas post at this time of the year. Without leaving this behind for the year 2011, here goes my snap of picture over my trip to South Korea last month. After visiting the place which full of teddy bear, I noticed myself fell in love with some fury brown teddy bear.... they are just too cute and adorable. No matter what, my vision still lies on the bears I had back from my Japan stay... it was not only cute but memorable. I could still remember my days back then, the memories.

I normally have a greeting page here on my blog space. Unfortunately, my planned X'mas photo was not ready, as the intended X'mas tree project of mine was not successful. Probably I will leave it to next year's greeting :P

Purple has turned blue...
Officially as at Nov 20, 2010, the joyful purple has now turned blue. Turning towards a new hope, new world, new me... Well, I am probably not a kind of person who could stay on with routine life, similar style, same rhythm throughout my life.
Thus, I took this opportunity to re-design my blog. I know.. it is not yet perfect, not to the extend of my expectation. At least there is some change, which could eventually lead me to write further (hope so!).
A little intro to the header picture attached above, it was taken from my recent trip back to my hometown, Labuan island. Love sunset!
Let's say bye to my old blog page here...

Expired Milk (过期牛奶之用途)
Look at the expiry date printed on this tetra packed milk. Picture was taken last weekend, and it has been way past due... to be honest, the milk is still in my fridge. What will I do with it?
After google'ing for a week, here's what I gathered and could share around.
According to The Greenists here, it can be poured into the toilet bowl, in which its enzyme will break down the content of tank. It is good for compose too.. make sense since it has enzyme. Watering rose plant can be an idea too...Not bad, it is equally the same from what I searched through from Chinese websites. By the way, if you have a bucket full of expired milk, probably worth trying to take a milk bath!

过期牛奶的妙用
牛奶在开启包装以后，如放置时间过长，就会变质且不能食用，然而过期变质的牛奶依然有利用价值。
利用过期牛奶擦拭皮鞋先用刷子刷掉鞋面上的污垢，再用纱布蘸上发酸的牛奶均匀地涂抹在鞋面上，等到干了以后用干布擦拭，鞋面可光亮如新，还能防止皮面干裂。
利用过期牛奶擦拭复合地板将清水倒入变酸的牛奶中充分稀释，然后滴在地板上，用毛巾擦拭，地板可光亮如初。
利用过期牛奶除去衣服上的墨迹先用清水把衣服清洗一下，再倒入变质的牛奶轻轻揉洗，可除去衣服上的墨迹。
利用过期牛奶滋润肌肤如果牛奶刚过期，没有任何变质的现象，可以用它来洗脸，滋润肌肤。
利用过期牛奶擦拭皮质家具如果过期牛奶已有少许沉淀，但气味并没有改变，可以用它擦拭皮质家具，能使皮质家具恢复光泽，同时还能修复小的裂痕。
利用过期牛奶浇花如果过期牛奶已结块并有了明显的酸腐味，这时可用它来浇花，为了避免不好的味道产生，可以在花土中挖一个小坑，把过期牛奶埋进去。
利用快过期的鲜奶煮菜快超过食用期限的鲜奶，不适合生饮，可用小火加热煮沸，放凉后加到菜肴或点心中，也可和蛋液混合用来做吐司，或者放入鱼汤或浓汤里。
For the benefit of others, let me translate them as below :
1) Making use of expired milk as shooting cream for leather goods, i.e. shoes. Clear up dusk on your leather shoe with a piece of cloth; apply milk on the leather; finally wipe them off. It could prevent leather from hardening and crack.
2) Dilute harden expired milk with water; it is good for maintaining your wooden flooring.
3) Remove ink stain on your cloth; pour the milk on your stained cloth, rub it before wash.
4) Same as #1 above, it is useful to maintain leather products, like sofas.
5) Water the plant; it is something to do with composing and enzymes.
6) Cooking; it needs to be heated with lower temperature, then mixed with egg for toast bread or add-on into fish soups.
So.. is it worth to know the use of an expired milk. Don't waste, sure there is good way of handling waste.

Year of Tiger - May all have a Joyful Roaring year
It is still not too late to wish everyone a Happy Lunar New Year! Welcome all to the year of tiger.
May all have a prosperous and happy days this whole year!
The picture below is the CNY decoration at OneUtama Shopping mall, someone told me it looks nice?!! I neither agree nor disagree. It looks more like a cat than a tiger, though cat and tiger is from the same animal family.
My picture below looks more like it, it's a tiger! I got this from the Guardian stamp redemption gift exchange, since December last year, posted here. Isn't it cute, but one thing I don't really like it, is when it could not sit well, haha! See photos below, how I made it sit.
Next, I finally dragged myself to watch this locally produced movie. Heard of its good comment many weeks ago, but just couldn't find a good time to visit the cinema. When I was still free couple of days back, we went to a cinema nearby as early as 10.30am, but still tickets were all sold out! Gosh... lucky enough, since I am still on vacation today, we managed to get tickets at a cinema last night.

I was lucky! As I got the chance to visit the shooting place at Beserah, Kuantan during the eve of Chinese New Year, even before I watch this movie. Indeed a good place for shooting, nice peaceful village for everything, especially for one who loves nature, peace and relax. I had a few good picture shoots with my DSLR there, I had caught the right spot!
Next, sharing my childhood memories with you. If you are familiar with Taiwanese band, you might know Little Tiger (小虎队). This is their wiki page. They were formed 20+ years ago, and disbanded 10+ years ago. Recently, they presenting themselves once again on stage during a CNY show. What I like most is their togetherness, presenting lively songs, meaningful and yet capturing the moment well, with a positive heart and energy.

Last but not least, I noticed I have this collection around my desk too. If you happen to collect this bean-bag tiger from a petrol station about 10+ years ago, you will know and even might have it collected too :) Nice ya!

My palm-sized teddy bears...
A very quick post before I proceed with my KK trip posts... not that I am a fan of teddy bears, but I really fell in love with the teddy bears from Tokyo Intercontinental Strings Hotel - The CLUB TEDDY!! If you happen to browse this website, aren't they cute??! Yeah, I was a frequent visitor to this hotel, but unfortunately I only had 2 of these bear. Only special guest or occasions they will send you as a gift.

These were what I had got from them....
1) Most recent back in Nov 2007, I was checked into an upgraded room, where I got this nicely placed on my bed....
2) Guess was back in 2005, I got this from a receptionist while waiting for an early morning 5am checkout at the front desk...after all, this look exactly like me in the early morning sleepy look. I like this bear the most and it is accompanying me on my bed frame ;)
I recently got this locally made bear from Aeon, hmm... it fits well into my category of liking - palm sized. But looking at it again, not as charming as the previous two.
And last Christmas... I had this in my last blog post...
Coming soon, I am hunting for this Guardian Big Headz redemption. Well, too bad its not a teddy bear, but let's see if I am happy with it after this redemption. Besides, any other stamps to offer me?? I still have another card empty... hehe;P

Antz.....
I think this could be my most nonsense (无聊) post I ever had.... Do you know what's in the picture below? Come guess..... it's the 'Ants Tunnel' in making! I came back home from office on a Friday evening, aimlessly and a lil moody... As usual, I will turn on my netbook from my study table, swing off the window panel and ta-daaaaa... I saw 2 holes at my green garden. I knew it was the creation of the ever hardworking ants.
And much more closer....
I knew I have nothing better to do, taking pictures wasn't enough. I did capture a video too!
Look at them, how hardworking they are. I wonder if they get paid??! (hehe) Having said, since they are my 'main character of the day', I did a searched on Wikipedia (Ops, who is Wiki?)... These are called Black Garden Ants. Wonder how they got transform? Very simple... the keywords are - Queen Ants, Queen with wings, Queen without wings, Mating, Tunnels, Eggs, etc...
With the keywords above, you could now summarized the storyline... There are these Black Ants with wings... which locally (or at home) we usually called it 'insect' which likes to come near the lights during rainy season. It was exactly what I noticed last Sunday when I hosted my garden BBQ dinner. There are lots of these 'insects' flew around.
And so, the Queen ants will mate and they will drop their wings before they gets into the tunnel to lay their eggs. That seems to be the reason why tunnel is built. Seems that the Queen is soon laying her eggs. So..... should I destroy their 'road to castle' next??

Nestle Malaysia's VIP
Who says there is no surprise in today's snail mail? My postal mailbox is not meant only for credit cards bills and statements... though I know I will not receive any luv letters afterall... :P
Do you know Nestle? Do you know Nestle products well enough? Else if not, do you know Milo, Nescafe, Maggie Mee, etc...? If you are Malaysian or have been staying in this country long enough, I am sure you will know all these consumer products and brand. Although its a Multi National Company (MNC), but yet they might carry different products or brand name in other countries. The one I recall well is 雀巢 they called Nestle in China, with its beverage of Iced Lemon Tea.
Enough of the introduction. I received a snail mail posted to my home address lately, and it was bulky... it was from Nestle. Not that I had won any contest of such, without knowing... I had been their VIP contact for almost 10 years. What does a VIP contact does? Basically I am always a person who fill up their survey forms... that's what I did most time when I am free. Besides Nestle, I am also a survey contact for AC Nielson online, introduced by a friend few years ago.
So, what did I get from Nestle this time? Here you go... sample sachet of their newest release of 3-in-1 sachet type of Nescafe Gold, and 3-in-1 Milo Fuze (which I don't think is new). Besides those free sample stuff, there are printed in color recipes attached, as well as some new products pamphlet.
You could browse through their website for more info, there are contests forms and so available too. To those who likes to collect recipes, you might want to register yourself for eNewsletter at their Dear Nestle site. In case you are interested to register yourself... do proceed registration here. But I wouldn't sure if you will get VIP treatment and postal mail like me :P, no promise but worth trying your luck.

My 100th post @ blogspot.com!
Wow! This had been my greatest achievement in blogging. In just 6.5 months time, which I set up my 1st post last Aug 30, 2008... it has now with a 100th post... can't believe it myself. Mind it, I had never re-post anything from my old blog at Multiply.com.
What picture should I post here... probably my current profile picture which I might be changing in future... yet to change my blog template for the time being, as its suits me well - pinkish purplish me!
Now, its time for me to review what I had done well, what improvements I would need, etc...

What went well?
- - practically enhanced my imagination and writing skills.. though I knew I don't really place an effort to enrich my vocabulary in most posts, I am not a good writer by nature. :P
- - a good past time tool for me to de-stress
- - made me appreciate life and being observant, as I would take note of things out there and blog them out when necessary, an eye opener to the world out there
- - bonding tool with friends and family members
What needs improvement?
- - as mentioned above, for sure its my English writing skills!!
- - as a friend always tell me "enough of your food blog", will include more interesting topics next time
- - gain more readers, hahah... obviously I had never publish my blog to most friends. I had just done this TODAY in Facebook, hopefully friends will notice me.
- - enhance my blogger's tool, i.e. RSS and Feedburner which is still failing on me till today!

Cyberspace Footprints
Didn't have a great topic to start of my lil dreamer space, since I never ever had a good writing skills afterall. Lazy me - some who hates to read since young, thus I'd never ever been able to write in any language, neither English nor Chinese. But hey.. who cares, its the space of freedom to write.
Anyway, I don't intend to write anything personal in this blog, knowing that Cyberspace is not trustable. Not to say cyberfriends, anything "Cyber" may not trustable. But again, who cares... as long as you would have certain risk taking level to take on.
I used to like my old blogs in Multiply.com, coz its all locked down and I could write whatsoever there with the circle of friends of mine. Sharing photos, commenting on each others photos and writings, etc... sad to say, that blog of mine had been long ago abandoned. Kakiz had all gone all over the space, neglecting each others Multiply sides all together. due to personal reasons & visions.
Getting into an "open blog" like this will not be my permanent choice, as I am still a reserved person and would not think I will reveal personal opinion, lifestyles, etc... here. It's not my cup of tea, with the way I like to see proofs of footprints around at my blog.
But then, once a while shouting out publicly for stress release and public speaking practice, isn't it a good idea? Overall, I will be blogging on something general in the future - Creative thinking, Creative arts, Photography, Go Green environmental friendly stuffs, Organic foods, healthy lifesytle, cookings etc....
Till then... welcome to those happened to bump in here... let's see by when and how you'd able to catch me here... if you happened to.. do drop me a word or so.
